Editorial Policy
NH Media Zone publishes news, human-interest and social-awareness reporting from a network of independent regional correspondents. Every story that appears on this site has been reviewed and approved by an editor before publication.
Submission
Correspondents submit stories through their dashboard: a headline, body copy, category, region tag, and optional photographs or video. Correspondents cannot publish directly.
Review
An editor works through a checklist before approving a story:
- Named source(s) or first-hand observation for each factual claim.
- Names, places, dates and figures verified.
- No lifted text; direct quotations attributed.
- Photographs are the correspondent's own, credited, and not staged or misleading.
- Community-sensitive language reviewed for accuracy and fairness.
- No promotional, defamatory, or unverified allegations.
Corrections
If we get something wrong we say so, quickly and clearly. Contact us at the address on our contact page with the URL and what needs correcting.
Takedowns
Stories may be unpublished by an editor or admin if a factual error cannot be substantiated after publication, if consent to publish is later withdrawn by a source who is not a public figure, or if the content breaches the law.
