Hyderabad madrasa adds a free coding track alongside traditional studies

A twelve-week program pairs classical instruction with beginner programming, taught by local engineering graduates.

A madrasa in Hyderabad's Malakpet neighbourhood has quietly rolled out a coding track for students aged 14 and up.

The lessons run three evenings a week and are taught, unpaid, by graduates of nearby engineering colleges.

"We are not replacing anything," the principal explained. "We are giving our students one more door."
